당신의 라이벌 중매쟁이들보다 앞서기 위해서는 당신이 해독할 수 있는 작은 정보와 당신의 고객들에게 맞는 것을 찾아야 할 것이다. 때로는 상대편과 함께 일하는 것이 당신에게 가장 이득이 될 수 있고, 다른 때에는 상대편에게 기만적인 덫을 놓는 것이 당신에게 이득이 될 수 있다.

사랑이 공중에 떠 있다! 하지만 전염병도 마찬가지야

흑사병 소개팅에서 플레이어는 손으로 카드를 선택해 얼굴을 숙이고 소개팅&인용 게임을 한다. 그런 다음 1-3 컬러 &info 큐브&(파란색 = 남성, 분홍색 = 여성, 검은색 = 감염됨, 흰색 = 건강함, 녹색 = 고급, 갈색 = 저급)로 카드를 진실하게 설명해야 합니다. 교환 단계에서 카드 주인이 바뀌면 소개팅 옆에 있는 두 번째 카드가 위로 향하게 된다. 소개팅이 공개되고 최고/최악의 날짜를 기준으로 평판 점수가 매겨집니다. 건강한 마을 사람 두 명이나 전염병에 시달리는 시민 두 명을 맞추면 점수를 얻을 수 있습니다. 하지만 실수로 둘을 넘어 전염병을 퍼뜨리지는 마십시오! 이 게임은 4 "시즌" (라운드)에 걸쳐 진행되며, 각 시즌은 중요한 방식으로 득점에 영향을 미친다. 그것은 3-4명의 선수들을 위한 추리와 허세의 빠른 게임입니다.

블랙 페스트 블라인드 데이트는 2013년 2월 보드루머 게임 디자인 공모전에서 3인 이상의 플레이어 부문에서 수상했다. 대회 참가자는 20장의 표준 플레이 카드와 10개의 큐브 이하로 제한되었다.

Dating is hard in the 14th century, and as a matchmaker, business is slim. The plague has most folks too afraid to leave their homes, let alone go out looking for romance. Literacy is very low, so the letters you receive from clients are oftten difficult to make out. To make matters worse, you're not the only match-maker in town.

To come out on top of your rival matchmakers you will have to go with what little information you can decipher and find matches for your clients. At times it will be in your best interest you to work with your opponents, at others it will benefit you to set devious traps for them.

Love is in the air! But so is the plague...

In Black Plague Blind Date, players take turns choosing a card from their hands to play face down as a "blind date". They then must truthfully describe their card with 1-3 colored "info cubes" (blue = male, pink = female, black = infected, white = healthy, green = high class, brown = low class). Cards change hands during the exchange phase, then each player plays a second card face up next to any blind date. Blind dates are revealed and reputation points are scored based upon the best/worst dates. Matching two healthy townsfolk or two plague-ridden citizens will earn you points, but don't accidentally cross the two and spread the plague! The game is played over 4 "seasons" (rounds) with each season affecting scoring in a significant way. It's a quick-playing game of deduction and bluffing for 3-4 players.

Black Plague Blind Date won the February 2013 Boardroomers Game Design Contest in the 3+ Players category. Entrants in the contest were limited to using no more than 20 standard playing cards and 10 cubes.
