골프 티들리윙스는 1920년대 오리지널 테이블탑 보드 게임에 기반한 도전적인 기술 게임이다. 이 게임은 에블린 워, 낸시 밋포드, P.G.의 소설에 세계가 반영되어 있는 부유한 '밝은 젊은이들'에게 큰 인기를 끌었던 '로열 앤 에인테이트' 게임인 골프를 기념하기 위해 고안되었다. 보드하우스

각 선수가 컬러 카운터를 선택하고 플레이 순서가 정해지면 플레이가 시작된다. 각 선수는 차례대로 카운터를 출발점에 놓고 깃발 1을 향해 한 번씩 뒤집는다. 다시 그의 차례가 되면, 플레이어는 그의 이전 시도 후에 보드에 있는 어느 곳에서든 첫 번째 '홀'을 향해 카운터를 뒤집습니다. 홀을 완성하기 위해서는 플레이어의 카운터가 깃발의 흰색 원 위에 정지해야 하지만, 반드시 전체 공간을 덮을 필요는 없다. 선수의 카운터가 흰색 원에 닿아 '홀'을 완성하면 다음 깃발을 향해 뒤집힐 수 있다. 우승자는 골프 티들리윙스 코스의 마지막 '홀'인 플래그 16에 도달한 첫 번째 선수입니다.

상대방의 카운터 위에 정지해 있는 카운터는 세 개의 '구멍'을 거슬러 올라가야 합니다. 벙커나 호수에 착륙한 카운터는 플레이어가 위험에 직면하기 전에 목표였던 깃발에 도달하기 위해 노력해야 하는 시작 부분으로 돌아간다. 보드를 완전히 떠난 카운터는 출발점으로 돌아가며, 한 턴을 놓치면 이전에 목표였던 깃발에 도달하기 위해 노력해야 한다.

Golf Tiddlywinks

A Game of Fun & Dexterity

Golf Tiddlywinks is a challenging game of skill based on an original table-top board game from the 1920s. It was designed as a celebration of golf, the 'Royal and Ancient' game that was hugely popular with affluent 'bright young things' whose world is reflected in novels by Evelyn Waugh, Nancy Mitford and P.G. Wodehouse

Play begins once each player has selected a colour counter and the order of play has been decided. Each player takes it in turn to place his counter on the starting point and flip it once towards Flag 1. When it is his turn again, the player flips his counter towards the first 'hole' from wherever it is on the board after his previous attempt. To complete the 'hole', a player's countermust come to rest on the white circle of a flag, but is not necessary for it to cover the whole of the space. When a player's counter touches the white circle and completes a 'hole' it can be flipped agian towards the next flag. The winner is the first player to reach Flag 16, the final 'hole' of the Golf Tiddlywinks course.

A counter that comes to rest on an opponent's counter must go back three 'holes'. Counters that land in a bunker or lake are returned to the start, from where the player must try to reach the Flag that was his goal before he encountered the hazard. Counters that leave the board entirely are returned to the start, from where, after missing a turn, the player must try to reach the Flag that was previously his goal.

Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.
