1938년에 제3제국은 남극 탐험을 시작했다. 탐험된 영토는 탐험선 슈바벤란트의 이름을 딴 노이슈바벤란트(Neushwabenland (New Swabia)
다른 나라에서도 눈치채지 못한 채 비밀 기지가 건설되었다. 211 기지와 제국은 진보적인 무기 시스템을 개발하기 시작했다.
어느 날 정찰 임무를 수행하던 부대가 사라졌고 2m 높이의 이상한 벌레 같은 짐승과 집채 높이의 생물이 목격되기도 했다.
잠재적인 위협 때문에 노이슈바벤란드의 높은 지휘부는 위협에 대처하고 이상한 생명체에 대한 더 많은 정보를 수집하기 위해 총동원되었다.

노이슈바벤란트(Neuschwabenland)는 제3제국의 세력과 외계 생명체의 힘 사이의 가상의 투쟁을 북극 환경에서 시뮬레이션한 2인용 전술 육각 및 대항전 게임이다. 그 게임은 또한 솔리테어 플레이에도 매우 적합하다.

제국에는 첨단 장비와 UFO처럼 생긴 비행 기계 하우네부와 같은 특수 부대들이 배치되어 있다.
그러나 악천후로 인해 유닛 활성화에 있어 한계가 있다.

반대편에 있는 외계인들은 숫자의 힘으로 적들과 싸우며 모든 유닛을 활성화할 수 있습니다.
제국의 화력은 부족하지만 (단, 트라이포드는 제외한다.) 괴물 같은 살인 기계, 근접전에서는 매우 위험하다.

이 전투 시스템은 우주 십자군 게임에서 영감을 받았다.

이 게임에는 남극 지역인 노이슈와벤란트를 그린 지도(10 x 18인치)와 88(5/8인치) 카운터, 6가지 시나리오가 함께 제공된다.

In the year 1938 the Third Reich undertook an expedition to Antarctica. The explored territory was called Neuschwabenland (New Swabia) named after the expedition vessel, Schwabenland.
Unnoticed from the rest of the world a secret base was built: The Base 211 and the Reich began to developed progressive weapon systems.
One day, troops on reconnaissance missions disappeared and there were sightings of strange 2m tall worm-like beasts and house-high creatures.
Due to the potential threat, the high command of Neuschwabenland caused a general mobilization to deal with the menace and to gather more informations about the strange creatures...

Neuschwabenland is a tactical hex and counter combat game for 2 players simulating the hypothetical struggle between forces of the Third Reich and the forces of Alien life forms, in an Arctic setting. The game is also highly suitable for solitaire play.

The Reich has advanced equipment and special units at disposal, such as the UFO-like flying machine Haunebu.
However, due to the harsh weather conditions they are limited when it comes to unit activation.

Aliens on the other side fight their enemies by sheer force of numbers and can activate all units.
While they lack the firepower of the Reich (with one exception, the Tripod: A monstrous killing machine), they are very dangerous in close combat.

The combat system is inspired by the game Space Crusade.

The game comes with a map (ca. 10 x 18 inch) depicting a part of the Antarctic region, Neuschwabenland, a sheet with 88 (5/8 inch) counters and 6 scenarios.
