Cutthroats에서는 당신과 다른 5명의 선수들이 스페인 메인의 주요 도시들을 차지하기 위해 경쟁합니다. 플레이어는 7가지 스킬 중 하나를 사용하여 서로의 배와 마을을 공격합니다.

배는 12면 주사위를 이용하여 움직인다. 그러나 플레이어들은 보드에서 특정 방향으로만 움직일 수 있으며, 이것은 항구에 도착한 후에 바뀔 수 있다. 다른 플레이어의 항구에 상륙하는 플레이어는 해당 플레이어에게 포트 요금을 지불하거나 마을을 정복해야 합니다.

전투는 플레이어가 공해상에서 다른 플레이어를 추월하고 공격을 결정할 때 발생합니다. 각 플레이어는 10면 주사위를 굴리고 그 숫자에 대포 업그레이드 횟수를 더한다. 세 명 중 두 명이 싸움에서 이깁니다. 패자는 업그레이드를 잃고 이긴 플레이어에게 몸값을 지불하고 가장 가까운 마을로 보내집니다.

선수들이 손에 쥔 돈보다 더 많은 빚을 지면 탈락한다. 마지막 돈 있는 사람이 이깁니다. 우승의 부차적인 방법은 5개의 마을을 모두 정복하고 경기를 풀 라운드 동안 개최하는 것이다.

In Cutthroats, you and up to five other players vie for control of key towns in the Spanish Main. Players utilize one of seven skills to attack each other's ships and towns.

Ships move by use of a 12 sided die. But players can only move in certain directions on the board, which can be changed after reaching a port. Players that land on another player's port must pay port fees to that player or try to conquer the town.

Combat takes place when a player passes another on the high seas and decides to attack. Each player rolls a 10 sided die and adds to that number, the number of cannon upgrades they have. Best two out of three wins the fight. Losers are forced to lose an upgrade, and pay a ransom to the victorious player as well as being sent to the nearest town.

Players are eliminated if they owe more doubloons than they have in their hold. Last player with money wins. A secondary way of winning is to conquer all five towns and hold them for a full round of play.
