나홀로 인 더 스톰(AITS)은 워 스톰 시리즈 게임의 신예들과 베테랑 플레이어들에게 흥미롭고 새로운 게임 경험을 제공한다.

이 확장팩은 워 스톰 시리즈에서 각 게임의 주요 규칙과 게임 컨셉을 유지한다. 논플레이어 측을 관리하는 규칙에도 불구하고 셋업 스테이지에서 도입된 전쟁 규칙 포그와 같은 새로운 규칙이 추가되었다. 나 홀로 폭풍 속의 전쟁 안개에서는 플레이어가 여러 정보 보고서 중 유일한 정보와 함께 사령관으로 본부 지도판에 표시됩니다. 때때로 이러한 보고가 옳고 플레이어가 예상된 적군을 찾을 수 있지만, 다른 때에는 이러한 보고가 잘못되어 플레이어가 불쾌하게 놀랄 수 있다.

남은 워스톰 시리즈 경기와 경기 순서가 비슷해 선수 측 운영이 거의 비슷하기 때문에 베테랑 선수들이 독주 체제를 쉽게 익힐 수 있다. 논플레이어 측면 관리에 필요한 새로운 본부(HQ) 단계를 추가하기 위해 몇 가지 변경이 있었다.

장교가 지휘하는 소수의 전투부대를 기반으로 한 워 스톰 시리즈 게임 시스템 때문에 비 플레이어 전력을 관리할 수 있는 인공지능 설계가 큰 난제가 됐다. 여러 관리 수준을 정의할 수 있습니다. 이 모든 상황이 인공지능이 명령체계를 시뮬레이션하게 만든다.

Alone in the Storm은 모든 워 스톰 시리즈 게임과 호환된다. 다른 것을 추가하지 않고 기본 게임과 이 확장 팩을 결합한 시리즈의 모든 게임(향후 타이틀까지)을 솔리테어 또는 반협업 모드로 실행할 수 있습니다. 이전에 디자인된 게임의 베이스 게임에 포함된 모든 시나리오는 카드놀이나 양쪽의 파트너와 함께 플레이할 수 있으며, 향후 게임에서도 포인트 기반 시나리오를 플레이할 수 있는 구체적인 규칙이 있다.

Alone in the Storm (AITS) provides an exciting and new game experience for newbies and veteran players of War Storm Series games, because this expansion pack includes 2 game modes: solitaire game and semi-cooperative game mode.

This expansion pack keeps the main rules and game concepts of each game in the War Storm Series. Despite of rules to manage the non-player side, other new rules has been added as for example fog of war rules that are introduced at Set up stage. Fog of war in Alone in the Storm puts player as commanding officer on the planning mapboard of headquarter with the only information of several intelligence reports. Sometimes these reports may be right and player may found the expected enemy forces, but other times these reports may be wrong and player may find unpleasant surprises.

Game sequence is similar than remaining War Storm Series games, so it shall be so easy for veteran players learn the solo game system, because the management of player side is almost the same. A few changes has been made in order to add a new headquarter (HQ) phase needed for non-player side management.

Design of an artificial intelligence to manage non player forces has been a great challenge due to the War Storm Series games system based on formations of a few combatant units commanded by an officer. It makes us to define several management levels. All these circumstances make that the artificial intelligence simulates the command hierarchy.

Alone in the Storm is compatible with all War Storm Series games. You can play solitaire or in semi-cooperative mode all games of the series (even future titles) combining the base game with this expansion pack, without adding anything else. All scenarios included at the base games of the previously designed games may be played in solitaire or with a partner from both sides, and there are specific rules to play point based scenarios too even future games.
