한명은 기계를 담당하는 해커 역할을 맡고, 다른 사람들은 암호 해독 전문가 역할을 맡습니다. 해커는 기계를 만질 수 있지만 문제를 볼 수 없고, 암호 해독 전문가는 문제를 풀 수 있지만 기계를 만질 수 없습니다.

문제 카드는 총 8장이고, 각각의 카드에는 문제가 적혀있습니다. 암호 해독 전문가는 카드의 문제를 풀어 해커에게 기계 조작 방법을 알려줘야 합니다. 해커는 자신의 눈으로 카드를 볼 수 없기 때문에 나머지 팀원들의 말에 따라 기계를 조작해야 합니다.

기계에는 타이머가 달려 있고, 시간은 1분부터 최대 20분까지 설정 가능합니다. 정해진 시간 내에 모든 문제를 성공적으로 풀어낸다면 팀이 승리합니다.

A game where players must work together to decode the console.

One player acts as the hacker, or operator, who directly interacts with the top-secret console. The other players are the advisors, who must decipher the challenges on the advisor cards, then tell the hacker how to break into the different modules. The advisors can look at the cards, but not the Hackathon console. The hacker can look at the console, but not the cards.

There are eight advisor cards, and each card has a series of puzzles and brainteasers on it. The advisor cards are divided among the advisors at random. The advisors must complete the challenges on the cards, and then will get a set of instructions to read out loud to the hacker. Since the hacker cannot see the card with his or her own eyes, the hacker must rely solely on verbal instructions from the rest of the squad as to which buttons to press and which switches to turn to open the console.

The console has a timer on it, and the team must break through successfully before the alarm goes off. Players can set the timer to whatever amount of time they’d like, with a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 20 minutes.

If the team is able to decode all the modules successfully in the set time, the team wins.
