18NC는 1835년부터 시작된 노스캐롤라이나 철도 회사의 운영과 투자에 관한 18xx 게임으로, 윌밍턴 앤 롤리 철도(나중에 윌밍턴 앤 웰던이 됨)의 전세권을 가지고 있다.

3~5명의 참여자들은 망하는 철도의 값비싼 부채를 피하면서 자신의 순자산을 증가시키려는 철도 회사의 투자자들을 대변한다. 주의 주식 소유권에 대한 신중한 조작은 개인 책임을 피하는 데 유리하다.

18NC is an 18xx game about operating and investing in the historic railroad companies of North Carolina beginning in 1835 with the Wilmington and Raleigh Railroad being chartered (later to become Wilmington and Weldon).

Three to five players represent investors in these railroad companies attempting to increase their own net worth while avoiding the costly liabilities of a failing railroad. Careful manipulation of the State’s share ownership can be advantageous to avoid personal liability.
