The eighth book in the Horus Heresy series from Forgeworld and Games Workshop. The Horus Heresy is set in the past of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and covers the civil war that split the Imperium in two following the betrayal of the Emperor by the Warmaster. Malevolence contains the background and rules for the Blood Angels and White Scars legions, as well as the Daemons of the Ruinstorm.

As the traitor Warmaster Horus and his armies burn their way across the Imperium, their sights fixed on Terra, the Dark Gods' plans for other Legions unfold in the dark places of the galaxy.
