체스 인피니텀(Chess Infinitum)은 필리핀 세부시에서 개발된 체스의 판타지 기반 변형으로, 10x10 바둑판 위에 모서리와 수평으로 인접한 이웃 사각형을 제거하여 2x2를 포함한 총 92개의 사각형을 제거하였다양쪽의 중앙에 있는 "무한 사각형"입니다.체스의 변형으로, 원래 게임과 유사한 점은 조각 동작이 동일하다는 것, 교착 상태와 같은 무승부 규칙의 존재, 이동 반복 및 이동 횟수 규칙, 그리고 존재하는 보드의 다른 끝에 도달하는 졸의 촉진을 포함하지만, 게임 플레이의 주요 차이점은 양쪽 모두 6개의 졸만을 가지고 있다는 것이다, 조각들의 시작 위치가 다르며, 이제 게임의 목표는 짝짓기만 확인하는 것이 아니라 상대 왕을 "포획"하는 것이다.

또한, 색이 다른 2x2의 "무한 사각형" 위에 놓인 조각은 마치 해당 공간의 다른 빈 사각형을 모두 차지하는 것처럼 이동할 수 있다. 만약 당신의 또 다른 조각이 "무한 광장"에 있는 그 당시 빈 광장들 중 하나를 차지했다면, 그 조각들은 대신 남은 빈 광장들의 힘을 공유할 것이다. 만약 모든 무한 사각형이 한 조각으로 점유된다면 이 힘은 기술적으로 쓸모가 없게 된다. 당신과 당신의 상대는 무한정의 정사각형을 사용할 수 없지만 당신은 정사각형을 점유함으로써 그 효과를 차단하기 위해 당신의 조각들 중 하나를 사용할 수 있다.

보다 일반적으로 사용되는 변형은 "마법사" 조각을 추가하는 것이다. 이 작품은 처음에 플레이어\의 무한 사각형 위에 놓여 체스 여왕과 비슷하게 움직이며, 다른 작품에 포획되지 않으면 다음 동작에서 게임 엔딩을 잡을 가능성이 있는 상대 왕에 의해 포획되지 않는 것에 특별한 힘이 있다. 특수한 작품이기 때문에 9단이나 10단에 진급하는 졸은 마법사로 진급할 수 없다.

Developed in Cebu City, Philippines, Chess Infinitum is a fantasy-based variant of chess played on a 10x10 checkerboard with its corner and its horizontally adjacent neighbor squares removed totaling 92 squares including the 2x2 "Infinitum squares" on the center of both sides.

As a chess variant, similarities with the original game include the piece moves being the same, existence of draw rules like stalemate, move repetitions and number-of-move rules, and promotion of a pawn reaching the other end of the board being present; however, major differences in gameplay include both sides only have 6 pawns, the starting position of the pieces are different, and the goal of the game is now to "capture" the opponent king instead of just checkmating it.

In addition, a piece placed on their own, differently colored, 2x2 "infinitum squares" can be moved as if they are occupying all other vacant squares in the said space. If another piece of yours has occupied one of the then-vacant squares in the "infinitum square" then those pieces will instead share the power of the remaining vacant squares. If all infinitum squares are occupied by a piece then this power becomes technically useless. You and your opponent cannot utilize the opposing infinitum squares but you could use one of your pieces to block its effect by occupying a square.

A more commonly used variant of the game is by adding the "Wizard" piece. This piece is initially placed on the player\'s infinitum square and moves similar to a Chess queen; its special power lies on it being uncapturable by the opponents king dealing a possible game-ending capture on the next move if not captured by another piece. Since it is a special piece, any pawn that promotes on the 9th or the 10th rank of the board cannot be promoted to a Wizard.
