폴리티코에서: 카이사르의 몰락, 선수들은 카이사르에 싫증이 난 원로원 의원들로, 로마의 지도자를 타도하고 정권을 잡으려는 열망을 품고 있다. 비슷한 의제를 가진 다른 상원의원들이 있기 때문에 당신이 그런 고상한 목표를 가진 유일한 상원의원이라는 것을 거의 알지 못했습니다. 플레이어들은 비밀리에 로마에서 가장 많은 지지자들을 확보하여 자신들의 계획을 실현시키고, 카이사르의 몰락을 가져오거나, 적어도 더 큰 권력의 위치에 서도록 하려는 음모를 꾸민다.

이 게임은 일련의 라운드에 걸쳐 진행된다. 매 라운드마다 새로운 서포터가 공개되고 플레이어는 비밀리에 '서포터즈 설득'과 '게임 조작' 중 어떤 전략을 선택할지 선택한다. 게임은 플레이어가 13명 이상의 서포터를 보유하면 즉시 종료되며, 각 타입마다 최소 1명 이상의 서포터를 보유하게 된다. 그렇지 않으면 마지막 서포터 카드가 공개되면 라운드가 끝난 후 게임이 종료되며, 플레이어는 게임 종료 시 남은 서포터들에 대한 포인트를 부여받는다.

폴리티코: 시저의 몰락은 폴리티코의 확장이 아니다. 오리지널 게임의 메카닉을 차용한 독립형 게임입니다.

Politico: The Fall of Caesar is the 7th game in Small Box Games' Pure Card Line.

In Politico: The Fall of Caesar, players are Senators who have grown tired of Caesar, and have aspirations of overthrowing the leader of Rome and taking the reigns. Little did you know that you weren’t the only Senator with such lofty goals, as there are other Senators with a similar agenda. Players secretly plot to gain the most supporters within the city of Rome to help bring their plan to fruition, and to bring about the fall of Caesar, or at the very least, posture themselves in a position of greater power.

The game takes place over a series of rounds. During each round, a new Supporter is revealed and players secretly choose what Tactic they will choose for the round, either to Persuade Supporters of the current type, or to Manipulate the game to their favor. The game ends immediately if any player manages to have 13 or more Supporters, with at least 1 supporter of each type. Otherwise, the game ends after the round when the last Supporter card is revealed, and players are awarded points for the Supporters they have left at the end of the game.

Politico: The Fall of Caesar is not an expansion for Politico. It is a stand alone game that borrows mechanics from the original game.
