The Company game which uses the company as the standard infantry game unit gives you the chance to be a battalion or a brigade commander in the thick of battle; the Battalion game uses battalions as the standard infantry game unit - players can easily command a division on the tabletop. The Grand Tactical game uses the infantry regiment as the standard infantry game unit - allowing players to command Corps on the tabletop. The variety of wars, battles, and skirmishes throughout the period covered by Hallowed Ground, 2nd Edition requires rules that can cover engagements of all sizes.
