1860년대 초, 여섯 명의 친구를 태운 열기구가 남태평양의 미지의 섬에 추락했다. 그들은 함께 낮에는 조종하고, 탐험하고, 움직여야 하며 밤에는 위협과 싸워야 한다. 생존자들은 이야기의 순간들을 밝히고 섬을 탈출하는 데 도움을 줄 단서를 찾아 섬을 가로질러 이동할 것이다. 하지만, 그들이 그들의 궁극적인 목표를 향해 나아가면서, 30일의 끝에 재앙적인 사건이 펼쳐질 것이기 때문에, 시간이 촉박하다.

공예 및 탐험 덱은 플레이어가 스킬과 생존 기회를 향상시킬 수 있는 방법을 제공합니다. 35번 크래프트 카드는 항상 생존자들을 돕기 위한 물품들을 제공할 것입니다. 35개의 탐색 카드는 무엇이 그려지느냐에 따라 플레이어에게 긍정적인 영향과 부정적인 영향을 모두 미칩니다.

한 경기에 사용되는 130장의 카드 중 복식 카드는 6장에 불과해 각 경기 세션이 매우 독특하다. 이러한 변수들은 높은 재생 가능성을 제공하며 매번 게임 경험을 다르게 만듭니다.

A Cooperative Game of Survival, Exploration, and Escape

Loosely based on Jules Verne's novel "The Mysterious Island"

In the early 1860s, a hot-air balloon carrying six friends, crash landed on an uncharted island in the South Pacific Ocean. Together, they must craft, explore, and move during the day and fight off threats at night. Survivors will move across the island finding clues that will reveal story moments and help them how to escape the island. However, as they move toward their ultimate goal, time is running out, as a catastrophic event will unfold at the end of 30 days!

Mysterious Island is a cooperative survival game that uses an action point system for players to make strategic choices. In conjunction with those choices is the variability of cards drawn during the Day and Night Phases. These cards often will determine how players make their choices.

The Day and Night decks double as a "timer" for the end of game. Once they run out, the game is over and the survivors lose in catastrophic fashion. Of course, staying alive while searching for a way off the island is another adventure of its own.

The Craft and Explore decks offer the player ways to improve their skills and chance of survival. The 35 Craft cards will ALWAYS provide items to help survivors along their way. The 35 Explore cards have both positive and negative effects on the players depending what is drawn.

Out of the 130 cards used in a game, only 6 are doubles, which makes each game session very unique. These variables offer high re-playability and make the gaming experience different each time.
