As the sun radiates through the window and illuminates your work of art, you load the next color into your brush as you mentally paint the canvas with your inspiration. After many hours of work, you sign your next masterpiece and prepare it for the next show in the salon. Gathering ideas at the café, following art critics, and through teachings at the art institute, you claw your way into becoming the most famous artist in the Salon de Paris.

Salon de Paris is an action selection game for 1 to 4 players that plays in 45 to 75 minutes. Players are artist who are moving throughout Paris to acquire canvases at the market, teach at the academy, gain inspiration at the café, paint their paintings at the studio, interact with the art critics, and finally hang their masterpiece on the salon wall. Positioning of a painting on the salon wall will earn players victory points, as well as, matching what the art critics are seeking. As more paintings are completed, the player's reputation will further increase the player's reputation resulting in additional victory points and unique player powers granted by the academy.

When the wall is mostly filled with paintings, the game will end and the player who has earned the most victory points will be deemed the best painter.
