Otters to the Rescue는 득점을 위한 영리한 조합으로 가득한 18장의 카드로 이루어진 게임으로 1~2명이 플레이할 수 있다. 플레이어는 카드를 삼각형 모양으로 배열하고 각 회전은 바다를 나타내는 삼각형에서 카드 중 하나를 구출합니다. 각 카드에는 다섯 가지 색상 중 하나, 여섯 가지 물고기 중 하나, 세 가지 도구 중 하나의 수영 선수가 있습니다. 각 게임에서 사용되지 않은 카드는 두 선수 모두에게 영향을 미치는 득점 영역에 사용됩니다.

이번 해난구조 수달 게임에서 플레이어들은 매 턴마다 자신의 승리 가능성에 도움을 주거나 상대가 득점하지 못하게 하는 카드를 교묘하게 선택해야 할 것이다. 또한 선택한 카드의 시간 값에 따라 순서가 달라집니다. 때때로 선수는 필요한 컬러 수영 선수나 도구를 가지고 있기 때문에 더 높은 시간 값을 원할 것이지만, 그렇게 함으로써 상대가 더 낮은 시간 값을 가질 경우 다음 라운드에서 2위로 올라갈 수 있다. 각각의 카드가 산에서 구출되면서 카드 선택의 폭이 좁아진다. 특정 카드를 가져가는 것은 상대에게 도움이 될 수도 있고 그들의 길을 방해할 수도 있는 다른 카드를 열어준다. 각각의 카드 선택은 해안으로 돌아가는 길을 제시한다.

The second game in the 18 card Rescue game series:

Otters to the Rescue is a game of 18 cards full of clever combinations for scoring and play for 1 or 2 players. Players arrange the cards in the shape of a triangle and each turn will rescue one of the cards from the triangle which represents the ocean. Each card features a swimmer in one of five colors, one of six fish, and one of three tools. The unused cards each game are used for the scoring area which affects both players.

In this game of Nautical rescue otters, players will have to cleverly select a card each turn that helps their chances of winning or keeps their opponent from scoring. Additionally, the turn order changes depending on the time value of the card selected. Sometimes a player will want the higher time value as it has a color swimmer or tool they need, but doing so opens them up to going second on the following round if their opponent takes a lower time value. As each card is rescued from the mountain, the selection of cards shrinks. Taking certain cards opens up other cards which may help an opponent or it may hinder their path. Each choice of card presents a path back to shore.

Otters to the Rescue is played over 3 rounds and presents over 800 different scoring combinations! Players will find plenty of fun in this small card game that packs a lot of strategy.

Otters to the Rescue can be combined with Safe and Hound to play up to 4 players!
