스와시버클에서는 동료 해적들과 경쟁해 가장 먼저 보물 포인트 5점을 획득하게 된다. 보물 포인트는 코인 카드를 사용하여 보물 카드를 구매하면 적립되며, 액션 카드는 더 많은 코인 카드를 획득하고 다른 해적을 공격할 수 있도록 도와준다.

각 해적의 차례는 3단계가 있다. 첫 번째는 추첨 단계로, 코인 카드 또는 두 개의 액션 카드를 추첨합니다. 다음 단계는 시장 단계로, 트레저 카드를 구매할 수 있는 충분한 코인 카드가 있으면 코인 카드를 현금화할 수 있다. 각 턴의 마지막 단계는 액션 단계로 최대 2장의 액션 카드를 플레이할 수 있습니다. 액션 카드를 사용할 수 있는 Ship 카드가 없는 한, 일단 액션 카드를 플레이하기 시작하면 시장 단계로 돌아갈 수 없습니다.

보물 카드는 게임에서 승리하는 데 필요한 포인트를 얻을 수 있으며 액션 카드를 강화할 수 있는 권한도 부여할 수 있습니다. 보물 카드 파워는 카드를 들고 있는 한 일회적이거나 오래 지속될 수 있습니다. 하지만 동료 해적들이 당신의 힘을 훔쳐서 그들의 힘을 빼앗을 수도 있으니 조심하세요...

게임 내내 탐색해야 하는 마지막 위험은 무인도입니다. 액션 카드가 떨어지면 섬으로 강제 이동됩니다. 무인도에 가면 주사위를 굴려서 게임에 복귀하기 전까지는 카드놀이를 할 수 없습니다!

게임은 한 명의 해적이 궁극의 스와시버클러가 될 차례로 5개의 보물 포인트를 얻었을 때 끝납니다. 공해에서 경쟁하고 이기기 위해서는 해적이 진정한 해적의 재능과 허세, 전략을 결합하여 자신의 운명을 해적의 전설로 그려야 한다.

Set sail with Swashbuckle, where piracy meets strategy and showmanship. Gather your finest mates and duel using dynamic Action and Treasure cards to claim the richest treasures. Who will get the most Treasure points? Who will find themselves stranded on the Island? Your crew will be clamoring for more! Ready yourselves for an epic journey, take the helm, and Chart Your Fate like never before in this thrilling pirate card game.

In Swashbuckle, you will compete with fellow pirates to be the first to gain five Treasure points. Treasure points are earned by purchasing Treasure cards using Coin cards, while Action cards help you obtain more Coin cards and attack other pirates.

Each pirate’s turn has three phases. The first is the Draw phase, where you will draw either a Coin card or two Action cards. The next phase is the Market phase, where you can cash in your Coin cards if you have enough to purchase Treasure cards. The final phase of each turn is the Action phase, where you can play up to two Action cards. You cannot return to the Market phase on your turn once you begin playing Action cards, unless you have a Ship card that allows it.

Treasure cards gain you points required to win the game and may also grant you powers to boost your Action cards. Treasure card powers may be one-time or enduring for as long as you hold that card. But beware, as fellow pirates might steal your powers to take them for their own...

The final danger that you must navigate throughout the game is the Deserted Island. If you run out of Action Cards, you will be forced to the Island. Once on the Deserted Island, you cannot play cards until you have rolled the dice and earned your way back into the game!

The game ends when one pirate has gained five Treasure points on their turn to become the ultimate Swashbuckler. To compete and win on the high seas, a pirate must combine the flair, bravado, and strategy of a true buccaneer to chart their fate into pirate legend.
