Why are we doing this?

Thanks to you, our last two Kickstarters were an amazing success as we added to our Bones line of plastic fantasy figures. We want to bring this same success over to the CAV range of figures where their larger size will benefit even more from the cost savings associated with producing a figure in plastic. The CAV: SO Kickstarter is focusing on getting these larger models switched over faster as well as the introduction of several new figures for you to use.

Plastic models require more expensive molds to produce and we need your help to expand the C: SO line. Your support makes the molds that we need to produce the figures and, in exchange, you get first shot at these figures for a fantastic deal!

What are Bones Gaming Miniatures?

For those of you that haven’t heard (cue glorious background music), Bones are only the best high-quality plastic gaming models to hit the industry...ever (end music)! The CAV: SO line of figures will use the same plastic as our fantasy figures but be cast in a medium gray color instead of white (with the exception of our Early-Bird Core Force Pledge Level). The CAV figures will also include a black plastic hex base for each figure as well.

CAV: Strike Operations centers around an all-new edition of the game. Download a free PDF copy of the base rules and see the changes we have made as part of the update. We have already committed to producing this game without asking for your assistance and will be releasing a full-color, hard-back rule set for retail sale.

What’s in it for me?

With any project we learn as we go along and since fulfilling our first Bones Kickstarter project, the number of pledge levels has decreased. We think most people want to be able to choose which CAVs they want and we have focused on getting the Pledge Levels set up to allow you the ability to pick the models you want with freebies added as we go to make the value of your pledge grow.
